Leaked:Toyota Hilux pickup truck will get big minorchange at late 2011
The current 1 ton Hilux pickup truck is debut since late 2004.The inside source told autoten that the replacement of its have to wait until 2014.Between late 2011 and early 2012,The competitor like Isuzu Dmax,Ford ranger/Mazda Bt50 and Chevrolet Colorado ( will receive full model change.So,it important to Toyota to bring refreshment for the Hilux.
Autoten have watched many of new Hilux spyshots but all of them are cover with heavy camouflage and can’t view the change but this is first time autoten see the overall car.The more sportyness headlight will be change to the new one,A new grille will get 3 Louver chrome that look more upmarket feel.A bumper will get redesign and increase size.The bonnet will be new in order to fit with new thing.All we can say that it look similar to the Hilander SUV.
The engine will be stick with old 2.5 liter and 3.0 liter diesel engine that will be tune to meet greater fuel effiencency and little cleaner.Source say that the car will be release at next month at Indonesia motor show.Then,new Hilux will release in Thailand fallow by Europe and other countries.
