2013 Honda Fit or Jazz rendering and information
Although we consider current generation Honda Fit/Jazz is still have up to date design and quality to compete with others car.Recently, Honda just annouce Fit/Jazz Hybrid late last year but Mag-x japanese magazine is start speculating the next generation of the car.
Seem like the next generation Fit or Jazz will carry on the strength of the current car.Such as economical,good power,easy to drive and unmatch versitlelity.
The new car design is said to improve on the current looks and not going in for a complete overhaul.It is expected to have a new silver taillights and a new grille treatment as well.There is a rumored that honda will make a hybrid version look more distinctive than current car.
Expect a hybrid version of next Fit/Jazz get re- face treatment such as different headligh,grille,front bumber.While the size of the car is not change much.Expect L 3925 MM x W 1695 MM x H 1520 MM.
The engine will different to each market.Expect 4 cylinder 1.2 liter petrol and 4 cylinder 1.5 liter petrol. while diesel engine is in consideration for some market.While the hybrid version (codename 2tf) with get a IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) hybrid 4 cylinder 1.5 L petrol place along side an electric engine.
Honda is report to cut production cost of the next Fit/Jazz.According to a report by Nikkei,the percentage of imported parts used in the domestic models (JDM) will be increased from 17% to around 40%. This will enable a reduction of 15% in the price of the new Fit, and will enable Honda to save in total around 70 – 80 billion yen.
Honda also attempt to lower their prices. In China,India and Thailand ,The next Fit/Jazz will use nearly 100% components from local suppliers.
The car have release date at september 2013 in Japan.
