Autoten got rendering of next generation Ford Mondeo from 2 source,a sporty design painted in gray  from autobild and Ford Taurus alike,American design in blue from Auto express.

According to the source,The new Mondeo is first time got some input from  Ford’s HQ in the US and Ford executives told Automotive News  at the 2009 North American International Auto Show that the next generation Ford Fusion will share a platform with the  European Ford Mondeo.but some source such as autoblog report that “Ford Mondeo, which as we all know will be basically the same as Ford’s future replacement for the Fusion”.

The next big change for the Ford Fusion will come in 2013 when Ford will begin using the Mondeo Platform. The platform, called EUCD, will replace the CD3 which was born from the Mazda6 and currently underpins many of Ford’s top selling vehicles including the Ford Edge,Mercury Milan, Lincoln MKZ and MKX .

The Next generation Mondeo will be a truly global car, with minor changes being made to suit individual markets around the world. It will also be built in a number of different countries.autoexpress reports that the interior will be Ford’s most luxurious interior ever, as the car attempts to move closer to upmarket rivals from Audi, BMW and Mercedes. The firm’s SYNC system allows drivers to control virtually any portable media device through steering wheel buttons or voice recognition technology.other hi technology as we found in current USA’s ford line up  such as in Ford Edge,Mercury Milan will also include in Next Mondeo.

The same source also reports that the engine will include 1.6 EcoBoost petrol turbo engines which found in new c-max will offer 150bhp and 180bhp. as well as  the 2.0 liter EcoBoost petrol turbo engines.the 2.0 TDCi diesel will aviable with 112bhp, 137bhp or 163bhp.all models will improve economy and cut emissions This includes regenerative braking, stop/start and an active grille system, which regulates air flow through the radiator and engine compartment to reduce drag

The next Mondeo will arrive in late 2012 or early 2013.
