2011 Lexus IS gets facelift
Ahead of the Paris Motor Show, set to take place in October, Lexus has revealed minor revisions to the popular Lexus IS junior executive saloon.
The 2011 Lexus IS comes in IS250 and IS200d trims in Europe, and allegedly now has restyled wheels, new taillights and LED running lights on trims fitted with HID headlights. The IS “F-Sport” body-kitted models feature a new front spoiler, a revised grille, a changed rear spoiler and new 18-inch alloy wheels, with new “titanium-effect” interior trim and “anthracite” headliner. The changes also apply to the Lexus IS-C convertible.
New Lexus model IS200d replace IS220d and is equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel engine developing 150 HP and 340 Nm of torque. The unit emits 134 grams CO2 per kilometer, and Lexus IS200d needs 10.2 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 mph, while average consumption is 5.1 liters per cent. 2.2-liter diesel unit is the same as used by the IS220d, except that an output lower power and lower torque to allow lower CO2 emissions. V6 petrol engine of IS250 model were converted to the Euro 5 and the full range of engines received the same treatment, without power or maximum torque to be affected. However, prices of Lexus IS remained unchanged.

The 2011 Lexus IS F-Sport options lists now includes a new deep front spoiler with faired-in fog lights, new grille design and a rear spoiler with integrated stop light. Newly designed 18 inch alloys are also available.
The 2011 Lexus IS250 price starts at 25,260 GBP for the SE trim level and goes up to 30,485 GBP for the SE-L trim level, which sits above the F-Sport.
For the convertible, the 2011 Lexus IS250C price starts at 35,996 GBP and goes up to 40,941 GBP.
