The 2014 Mercedes benz GLC will be a compact SUV, with X6-like coupe styling line. the GLC is derived from the next generation B class (on newly develope platform underping both New A class and B class) and that means transverse front engine and front wheel drive as standard. 4Matic all wheel drive will be optional.The exterior of the GLC features hight ground clearance, large-sized tires, a larger angle in the front bumper, and a coupe-like roof line. BMW is thought to be working on a similar vehicle called the X4 and will be around 4.4 meters long.

Media report that the engines will be same engine that found in  the C and E Class; 250 4Matic CGI (1.8-liter four cylinder gasoline engine, 204 hp) and the 220 CDI 4Matic (2.2-liter four) and some has rumore  that the engine will include smaller Renault engines in the subject (ie a 1.4 turbo petrol or a diesel 1.6 liters) and Mercedes Benz is working on hybrid variant,Mercedes GLC AMG which will get the new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine.
