According to Automotive News, Mercedas Banz  marketing chief Joachim Schmidt says the new B-class range will have no less than four variants, and two new ,an SUV and hatchback,   A sedan model is also in the works.expect the B class sedan will sit below the c-class sedan ( premium b-segment entry level car) and Mercedas Banz want to attract more younger customer that not willing to pay more price on bigger Banz  and want smaller car that cheaper with smaller engine.

-Independent suspension (rear)
-Automatic shiftable 4×4
-7gear DCT double clutch (in-house developed)
-Every model  gets it own cockpit.
-Extrawide sunroof, affordable comfort-seats and Comand-System.
-Blue Zero option (600km range, with electro only only 80km)
-2017 fuel cell (425km range)
-New four-cylinder engine with direct injection (M 274)
——Diesel cylinderblock in aluminium (OM 645) saves 30kg.—— too expensive / canceled

-Engines from C-Class.

B200 CDI 1.8l 136PS
B220 CDI 2.2l 170PS

-3 gasoline engines with direct injection, turbocharger, intercooler:
B180 CGI 1.6l 122PS

In addition to the hatchback version there will be AMG badged sedan and a coupe/cabriolet version.
