2012 VW Eos rendering and speculation
The Volkswagen Eos is a four-seat, two-door convertible. Its retractable hardtop design combines the open-air experience of a traditional ragtop with the security and all-season comfort of a coupe’s fixed roof.the VW EOS introduced in 2006 as the successor to the Volkswagen Cabrio. The Eos is Volkswagen’s first production coupe since the last Corrado in 1995.The Eos is produced in Volkswagen’s AutoEuropa factory in Palmela, Portugal. Although production started in late 2005
the rendering look like a convertible version of recently lauch VW Jetta compact sedan which got influrance styling from Volkswagen Compact Coupe Concept(NCC),a 2 door coupe show car.but some media report that the slow selling VW Eos will replace by Cabriolet of the next generation Volkswagen Passat.the car would be getting new names in place of ‘Passat’.
conclusion is still unclear but autoten’s source is suggest us to look at Cabriolet version of Passat that duato arrive in 2013-2014 .but only comfirm now is the Volkswagen Eos is still use current body for some time and expected to get a more significant refresh for the 2012 model year.
