2012-2013 Renault-Nissan-Bajaj ULC small car rendering, heading to europe

The ULC-Ultra Low Cost car project which Bajaj of India will be responsible for designing and manufacturing the vehicle while the Renault-Nissan alliance will take care of marketing and sales
The Renault-Nissan-Bajaj ULC is expected to be priced around 1.17 lakh Rupees($2,500) in India and launched by 2012
“In India, Renault and Nissan are developing an ultra low cost vehicle with the Bajaj group, benefiting from its expertise in the light vehicles and the knowledge of the Indian market. We are aiming for a price of $2,500,” Renault President and CEO Carlos Ghosn said.
hot report is indiaautosblog say that Renault could be taking the car to European markets in 2013 to compete against the Tata Nano Europa. The European version of the ULC could cost 5000 Euros (3 lakh Rupees) for the added safety equipment and features for the European market.
but the rendering show that it’s look like a chop based from Suzuki Splash and the picture show it self feel like it’s a regular cost car. from humble opinion of autoten admin, the car look expensive than $2,500 price tag a lot and wondering if this rendering come true at $2,500. if it’s cone true it’s will be good for customer like us.
