Hyundai plans bigger V8 for Genesis, Equus

according to mibz  Hyundai will introduce  a improved V8 5.0-liter engine that develops 429 HP, coupled to an automatic gear box with eight in the Genesis sedan and Equus . With such a propeller, Genesis Coupe, which currently gives only 306 HP, thanks to a V6 3.8-liter engine, could cause even more American and European models of performance.

Hyundai also is working on all-wheel drive for its rear-wheel-drive cars, which is to say the Genesis and Equus, which ride on different versions of the same platform.

the Genesis , which is now powered by a 210-hp, 2.0-liter turbo four or a 306-hp, 3.8-liter V6.

motortrend also report that the new 2.0T benzin 2000 cc turbo that recently introduce in Sonata Turbo may intall in other car. among the lists are  Santa Fe and Azera .

they say that” Packing 274 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque, the new direct-injected 2.0-liter turbo engine is designed to offer greater power and fuel efficiency over the current 260-horse, 233 pound-foot 3.3-liter V-6. Given its lower cylinder count, it will also likely result in lighter weight and more nimble handling”
