GM lead US April 2010 car sale, Follow by Ford
Following 25% and 20% volume sales growth from Ford Motor and General Motors earlier today, Toyota Motor reported its April sales in the U.S. rose 24.4%, to 157,439 vehicles, trailing the 162,996 Ford reported, and the 183,091 GM reported.
Passenger cars at Toyota U.S. rose 18%, led by a 51% jump in Corollas, with Camrys rising 10%.
Meanwhile, Honda Motor said sales rose 12.5% to 113,697 vehicles, with the Acura division seeing a 22% rise and the Honda division trailing with 12%.
