2011 Next generation Renault Clio leaked images of clay model, to share V platform with Micra/March
The French automaker will make its entry into the small car space with the next-generation Clio by 2011.the car will be base on same platform with Nissan Micra /March that will market in europe in november 2010. the V platform also base the Nissan small MPV which expect to be replacement for Nissan Note.Both the Clio and Micra are set to be produced in India at the firm’s Chennai facility. expect to hit european shoowroom in 2011 and India showroom in early 2012
The French car maker has also announced plans to set up its own distribution network independent of current partner Mahindra. It will start selling the Fluence saloon and Koleos SUV from early 2011 at 15 new Renault dealerships that will be set up around India, while the slow-selling Logan saloon is expected to continue as a Mahindra-Renault product but with substantial upgrades. Renault says it is currently in discussions with Mahindra about the future of this model but confirms that it will continue to be sold here.
