Opel and Suzuki have long been collaborating for the European market, Suzuki plant in Hungary to produce the Opel Agila, the base on Suzuki develope’s Suzuki Splash.

Now with the Suzuki agreement with the co-operation with VW. Opel  contract with Suzuki will expire at end of 2012  but  Suzuki will continue to keep the factory in Hungary to produce the Suzuki Splash.anyway the New Suzuki Splash will get Full model change in 2014.The third-generation Agila, though, to be introduced in 2012, will be manufactured Germany.

Autoweek.nl report that Next Gen 2012 Opel Agila will be developed by own housing not on based Suzuki car.Because Gm is sell stake back to Suzuki

Agila sales increased nearly 24% to 59,603 units in Europe last year, according to data from JATO Dynamics.

The  Esztergom plant churned out 180,166 Suzuki models in 2009, about 100,000 less than in 2008.( in 2009 Suzuki Europe import about 100,000 Alto from India instead of produce in Hungary’s Esztergom plant ) CEO Hisashi Takeuchi expects output at 183,000 units in 2010.
