The Tata Aria, which was unveiled on Tuesday at the 2010 New Delhi Auto Show,Built on an all-new platform (code: X2), Aria will be Tata’s most expensive and luxurious model.
The Aria, which is Tata’s most expensive model, is at the opposite end of the spectrum from the Tata Nano and such new products as the Tata Magic Iris.
Tata took pains to point out the long list of amenities on the Aria, saying that this is the first time that an Indian OEM has offered an electronic stability program on a vehicle. The Aria crossover has three rows of seating, 3D surround sound, dimming roof lamps, an in-dash GPS, multifunction steering wheel, dual-zone air-conditioning, cruise control, optional four-wheel drive and six airbags.

Expected to be launched in the next few months, Tata has positioned the Aria as an up-market people mover and this will be the car maker’s answer to the hot selling Toyota Innova.

The Tata Magic Iris has been unveiled at the Delhi motor show, and like the Nano it is designed to get people off bikes and into cars.
Tata’s official statement on the Magic Iris did not mention pricing, but observers here expect it to come in at under $2,000. The Indian automaker said the Magic Iris will be launched later this year, “offering safer and more comfortable mobility for those who depend on three-wheelers.”
The Magic Iris comes equipped with a 611-cc diesel engine and a 2.6-gallon fuel tank and has a top speed of about 34 miles per hour, according to Tata.
Tata Venture is a van which comes in 5 seater / 8 seater configuration. Venture will be powered by 1.4L Indica engine developing 70bhp of peak power at 4500rpm and 135Nm of peak torque at 2500rpm (the same engine that powers the Indica Vista 1.4 TDI). The Indirect Injection, turbo charged, intercooled is coupled with five speed transmission. With a claimed maximum speed of 125km/hr + venture could be a good option for inter city travel too. Similar to winger and Omni, Venture sports sliding doors at the sides. The dimensions of the Venture are 3.9m in length, 1.5m wide and 1.8m taller. With a wheelbase of 2.1m, Venture promises spacious cabin for occupants.
