New Mitsubishi Outlander due in 2013, offer hybrid in large number.
Mitsubishi motor has show the Mitsubishi concept PXMiVE at 2009 tokyo motorshow that mean a step closer to bring a plug-in hybrid to the market
by 2013
Mitsubishi PXMiVE concept show the design that implement the Next
generation Mitsubishi Outlander.this mid size Crossover SUV with petrol
electric power will hit the market by 2013 with hybrid version sell in large volume around the world
under the body are two electric motor, each one will mount on each axle
these new system incorporates with a high combustion efficiency 1.6-liter MIVEC gasoline engine
Mitsubishi concept PXMiVE can be use on electric only mode at a claimed range around 30 miles but petrol power will assist for longer trip.
the concept is rumored to be good for 140 MPG
all these technology will be fit in the next generetion outlander.(the below picture is current generation outlander)
