Maruti Suzuki Plans to launch APV to replace Maruti Versa in 2010

Maruti has stopped production of its multi-utility vehicle (MUV) Versa and will launch a new van selling now in international market call Apv (or Apv arena in indonesia) thewihicle rumore to be  displayed at the Auto Expo in jan. 2010 but  expect to hit
showroom before first quater of 2010
 The  Versa, since it was launched in 2001, sold about 20,000 units. The new product is expected to be priced under Rs 5 lakh.

Maruti has already stopped the product of Versa as the sales were too low.

Maruti said: “We will be launching a new van by the end of this fiscal. This vehicle will replace the Versa, whose production has already been stopped.”

The new model codenamed as O2 at its Gurgaon plant is under modification to meet indian market.. The new model may be christened as Eco when launched but so far there is no new information about actual the product but admin of autoten.com
expect the  will be the car that  currently market outside india name Suzuki apv.
