Mitsubishi Motors Announces US October Sales

Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA)
today announced October 2009 sales of 3,867. This is a decrease of 17.9%
from last month’s sales of 4,712 (September 2009).
“While the sales situation has proven challenging for Mitsubishi Motors in
October, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the market and our dealer
body,” said Shinichi Kurihara, president and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North
America. “There are positive signs going forward as MMNA approaches the launch
of the 2010 Outlander. We are encouraged by the month over month sales
increases enjoyed by the recently launched Lancer Sportback model, and our
dealer body is excited about the new MMCA-supported (Mitsubishi Motors Credit
of America) Lancer and Outlander lease programs.”
