Subaru will launch hybrid in 2012

Fuji Heavy Industries the manufacturer of the Subaru models, will bring a petrol-based hybrid model to market in 2012. The car will not only offer in the United States and Japan but also market in Europe. Main reason for the plan is the increasingly stronger emission legislation.
President Ikuo Mori say about hybrid car that “more or less simultaneously on the market, will work with Toyota, the largest’s Subaru shareholder. Subaru is also planning to develop a new diesel engine that can pass the 2011/2012 emission standards.
